*Portfolio > Fragmented Box

The Fragmented Box series disassembles and reassembles everyday containers into a new reality. What was three-dimensional is ripped and torn into two-dimensional fragments.

Sections are elevated off the flat surface of the picture plane and thrust into a created three-dimensional space. Common fasteners pull the newly free three-dimensional creations back to the flatness of the two-dimensional space.

Each section of this mixed media quadriptych presents one (1) of four (4) interpretations of the same found box.
